Dena Lester is a Melbourne based visual artist and teacher who runs a successful fine arts school for adults and children. Over the years her interest gravitated strongly towards understanding the link between personal suffering, cultural wound and creative expression. Amidst this journey via Jungian and Gestalt therapy experiences she stumbled upon Shadow Work which offered an accessible way for her to understand the pathways of personal complexities and how to gently transform unwanted behaviours and responses.

In 2019 Dena qualified as both a Shadow Work Coach and Group Facilitator. She is committed to building a strong Shadow Work community in Australia so as to share the gifts of the programs she has attended that include the Shadow Work Weekend, the Shadow Work training programs and the Women in Power Initiation Weekend currently held in the UK.

Dena is available for one-on-one coaching by zoom or in person (Melbourne) and is fostering programs that merge creative expression and Shadow Work processes within the structure of her school The Melbourne Studio of Art.
